Owen has a great love for preaching, a deep desire to connect with people, and a quirky curiosity for all things creative. He grew up in Raleigh and graduated from Davidson College and Duke University’s Divinity School. He, his wife Chambliss, and their two kiddos Frances and Ned, live in Apex, where Owen served as a pastor at Apex United Methodist Church for four years. In 2011, the vision emerged for 519 as a new church passionate about loving well and living differently. When he’s not leading 519, you’re likely to find Owen running or biking near 27519, fly-fishing or eating somewhere fun.

Jessica comes to us with a great deal of experience in childhood development and elementary education, including both time in the classroom as well as serving as a director for a large preschool. Jessica also has a deep love for 519, as a part of our launch team she served our kids well for a year and a half before taking this role. She has two children, Ben (college sophomore) and Anna (high school senior), and is married to Guerry, a man she met at Applebee’s. A great gift to our family!
Jillian grew up in rural North Carolina and has lived in the Raleigh area for the past 6 years. She started worshiping at 519 just a few weeks after it first launched. She has taught in an elementary school for years. While working with middle and high school aged students is a new endeavor for her, it is something that she has always had a passion for and longed to do. She is very excited to finally have the opportunity to work with youth and thrilled that it is at 519.
